Xikai Tang, MSc

Xikai Tang will be a PhD candidate of the Department of Imaging and Pathology at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven). Xikai Tang is now studying electrical engineering with focus on medical imaging analysis at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) and will finish his master thesis done at Philips Healthcare in June, 2018. The thesis is about material separation of Cone Beam CT with dual layer detector on foil. Before that, He finished a 3-month internship at TU/e, with the research on 3D ultrasound needle localization using Conditional Random Fields. The research results are published in SPIE Medical Imaging with Xikai Tang as a co-author. And He finished his bachelor of electrical engineering and automation at Zhejiang University in July, 2017.
