Nicolò Capobianco, MSc
Nicolò Capobianco is a PhD student working at Siemens Healthineers and pursuing his doctoral degree at Technische Universität München(Germany). He studied biomedical engineering at Politecnico di Torino(Italy) where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in 2015 and earned his Master’s degree in 2017 as a participant of the double-degree program “Alta Scuola Politecnica” run jointly by Politecnico di Torino and Politecnico di Milano. He spent the last year of his Master of Science as exchange student at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne(Switzerland), where he worked on machine learning for acute stroke image analysis and on restoration of somatosensory feedback in hand prostheses systems. During his PhD he will develop Artificial Intelligence algorithms for the analysis of multimodal images combining metabolic and anatomical information.
