David Vállez García, PhD
David Vállez García is a researcher in the Imaging Methodology section at the Department of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging of the University Medical Center Groningen. With a bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from the Univesity of Alcalá, Spain (2002), he obtained his PhD from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands (2015), with the completion of a thesis titled “PET Imaging of Mild Traumatic Brain Injury and Whiplash Associated Disorder”.
David Vállez García’s research mainly focuses on quantitative PET/CT ad PET/MRI neuroimaging, from pre-clinical studies to clinical trials. He has a special interest in PET pharmacokinetic modelling and advanced statistical analyses.
