David Iommi, MSc
David Iommi is a PhD student in Medical Physics at Medical University of Vienna. He studied Biomedical Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino (Italy) and he finished his master studies in October 2017. He completed his master thesis with the title “Prediction of restenosis risk after surgery in the carotid bifurcation via hemodynamic and geometric analysis : focus on direct suture versus patch graft techniques” at the DIMEAS (Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering) of Politecnico, focusing on a cardiovascular/image based approach. He is currently a member of the HYBRID consortium and he will cover the ESR14 position , focusing on ultrasound guided intervention based on hybrid image information for prostate cancer.
