David Iommi, MSc

David Iommi is a PhD student in Medical Physics at the Medical University of Vienna. He studied Biomedical Engineering at the Politecnico of Turin (Italy), focusing his master thesis on a hybrid cardiovascular/image-based approach to estimate atherosclerosis risk after carotid surgery. He is currently a member of the HYBRID consortium and the QIMP (Quantitative Imaging and Medical Physics) group in Vienna. He covers the ESR14 position, focusing on prostate cancer biopsy driven by hybrid image information and deep learning techniques for quantitative imaging.
