Adam Espe Hansen, PhD
Adam studied physics and mathematics at the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen, graduated in 1998 and obtained his PhD in 2001.
After postdocs at University of Basel and the Technical University of Lund he joined the Functional Imaging Unit at Glostrup Hospital, Copenhagen, in 2004. Adam is since 2012 the physicist responsible the PET/MRI facility at Rigshospitalet.
The research of Adam revolves around enabling functional imaging of disease including DCE-MRI perfusion for neuro-oncology, multi-parametric PET/MRI and simultaneous hyperpolarized 13C MRS and PET (hyperPET).
