Philips Research Laboratories in Eindhoven (PRE), which are part of the Philips Group Innovation, employs approximately 1000 researchers. Within PRE work is carried in two programs aligned with Philips businesses: healthcare and consumer lifestyle. Data driven research and service orientation is common for both programs. Trust security and privacy play there an important role. Therefore, PRE is involved in many research projects in this domain, both internal for Philips businesses as external.
